Creating these tea length dresses for Louisa and Chris was an absolute pleasure. We first met in February this year to discuss their ideas for wedding dresses and explore fabric and style options. I think they would be the first to admit that they didn’t really know what they wanted other than dresses that would look good together and compliment each other without being the same. The sheer choice of options was a little overwhelming to begin with, but we quickly narrowed them down and started work on the ‘toiles’ (mock-ups of the final dresses). The wonderful thing about the bespoke process is that you can hone the design with each fitting and that the creative process is gradual. My clients not only get to see their dresses come to life, but they have complete control of each step. This is what Louisa said about their designs:

‘The dresses were brilliant – I can’t imagine going on a buckin’ bronco in any other dress.  And they looked perfect next to each other, just what we wanted – thank you and well done!!’

Pictures tell a story so much better than words though – so please enjoy looking through these fabulous images captured by the talented Ellie Gillard.
